Welcome

History:

The Cortina Mark One Owners Club of Australia, (CMOOC) is a family organisation, which was formed as a result of a chance meeting of Cortina owners at a Shannon's car Auction in early 1993, where a Mark One Cortina was to be auctioned. From humble beginnings of that meeting we have now grown into an organisation with around 100 members across the country.

The Club had several more outings in 1993 and its inaugural meeting was held on 13th February 1994 at Hanging Rocks "Valentines Day Picnic". A committee was elected, the first "Cort One" magazine published in February 1994, and in September 1994, the club was incorporated under the Office of Fair Trading and Business Affairs.
